Description
Introduction to Liquid Transport Tanks
Introduction to Process TanksAs the name suggests, liquid transport tanks are used for the transportation and transfer of various fluids, such as drinking water, milk, liquid fuels, wastewater, and more. The material of the tank body is determined based on the corrosiveness of the fluid contained and its intended use. The
tank body can be made of galvanized sheets, stainless steel, or carbon steel, with or without an epoxy paint coating.
Given that these tanks are used for transporting liquids over long distances, their design must ensure adequate resistance to impacts from road irregularities, sudden braking, fluid turbulence inside the tank, body strength during accidents or rollovers, and various environmental conditions such as heat, cold, rainfall, and similar factors. Therefore, special considerations must be taken into account when designing the tank body and its supports. Liquid transport tanks must be designed and manufactured according to safety standards. These standards include impact-resistant walls, pressure and temperature protection systems, and leak prevention systems. Furthermore, the tanks must comply with transport regulations related to the transport of liquids.
